For the third straight day, it rained here in the NY Metro Area. The Giants held a midday practice on Wednesday with Eli Manning wearing a helmet!
That was the good news. It was learned that Aaron Ross has a partial tear in his plantar fascia and will be in a boot for the next 10 days or so, effectively ending his preseason.
Also sidelined were DL Chris Canty (groin), TE Travis Beckum (neck), CB Terrell Thomas (calf), and DL Jason Pierre-Paul (groin), .
WR Ramses Barden (back), LB Chase Blackburn (knee), S Michael Johnson (back) and QB Jim Sorgi are all still out as well. Sorgi believes he may be able to start practicing next week and play in the final preseason game vs the Pats.
