He sure threw up a dud last week for his fantasy owners, but if you were able to survive, consider that just a blip and not a sign of things to come. Manning had a long touchdown pass slip through Hakeem Nicks’ hands, and another called back on holding, while one of his interceptions should be credited to Mario Manningham. Yes, the Jets’ secondary is strong, but so is Manning. Roll with him if you’ve got him.
Matchup: 7.5/10
Got the bulk of the carries last week, but still too inconsistent to trust. It wouldn’t surprise me to see the Jets’ defense shut down the Giants’ run game, so Bradshaw is a low-end RB-2. It does help that Bradshaw got the goal-line carries last week.
Matchup: 6.5
As mentioned above, it was Bradshaw, not Jacobs, receiving the goal-line carries against Washington, leaving me to believe that Jacobs is back to being the clear #2 guy. If you made it this far, hopefully you have a better option.
Matchup: 5.5
Hakeem Nicks
The presence of Darrell Revis is enough to shy away some Nicks owners, but I think he’ll have a strong bounce-back game after possibly the worst performance of his career. Still, it’s always risky with Revis, so consider Nicks a high end WR2 this week.
Matchup: 7.5
Victor Cruz
Although it’s clear Manning has been looking more to Nicks in recent weeks, Cruz may see an uptick in targets if Nicks cannot beat Revis. Cruz seems due for another big game, but Antonio Cromartie is no slouch either.
Matchup: 7.5
Ramses Barden
With Mario Manningham and Jake Ballard likely out tomorrow, the Giants will need a third receiver to step up and pick up some of the slack. Barden has shown glimpses of what the Giants thought they were getting when they drafted him in the third round, and he should finally get a shot to produce on Saturday. Considering that Manning liked to look towards Manningham and Ballard in the red zone, Barden could see some end zone targets. You should be able to find a better receiver on your waiver wire, but in extremely deep leagues, Barden could be a sneaky play. Consider him a WR4.

On pace to pass for over 5,000 yards, you’re starting Manning every week. And if there is a reason to bench Eli Manning, it’s not the Redskins’ defense.
Matchup: 8/10
The big man has looked great over his past two games, with 160 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries. Bradshaw is going to get more carries this week, though, so it’s hard to consider Jacobs anything more than a low-end RB2.
Matchup: 6.5
As always, Kevin Gilbride will try to establish the run, and recently, the offensive line has allowed him to do so. There may be enough carries for both Jacobs and Bradshaw to have decent days against a mediocre Redskins’ run defense, but do you really want to count on that happening in your fantasy playoffs?
Matchup: 6
Hakeem Nicks
It’s clear that Nicks is back to 100% and is once again the top receiving threat in the offense. The Redskins are stingy to opposing fantasy receivers, but Nicks will still see a generous portion of targets, and is a strong bet to break 100 yards.
Matchup: 8.5
Victor Cruz
He had a solid fantasy day, but could have broken 100 yards if not for a couple bad drops. Cruz was not a part of the offense the first time these teams faced off, and his presence could be the difference maker this time around. Expect more of the same from number 80.

After a couple of down games, Manning has had back-to-back stellar fantasy outings. The Cowboys are actually pretty solid against QBs in terms of fantasy points allowed, but Manning is going to throw it a lot, and should put up some nice numbers once again. I expect a high scoring affair.
Matchup: 8/10
He looked healthy last week, although he only ran for 38 yards. I expect his role to continue to grow, but Jacobs has the better shot to score. Bradshaw is no better than a low RB2.
Matchup: 6.5
With 59 yards and a touchdown, Jacobs had one of his better games of the year. The fact that this is seemingly his upside these days, coupled with Bradshaw’s return, the Giants’ banged up offensive line, and Dallas’ solid run defense, means you should probably look elsewhere for an RB2.
Matchup: 5.5
Victor Cruz
The NFL’s fourth leading receiver is a must start every week, and a rock-solid WR1. Cruz has big play ability, and has had success in prime time, with two touchdowns against the Saints on Monday Night Football. The Cowboys have CB Mike Jenkings back, but that shouldn’t stop you from confidently starting Cruz.

The last time he faced the Eagles, he dropped 254 yards and four touchdowns. It’s tough to expect Manning to reach those numbers again, but the Eagles are without Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, so he should be able to put up some solid numbers once again.
Matchup: 8/10
The Eagles are giving up the fifth most fantasy points to opposing running backs, and the Giants will again be without Ahmad Bradshaw, so Jacobs is a good bet to reach the 18 carries he received in each of the last two weeks. He’ll also likely catch a couple of passes, as the Eagles’ linebacking core leaves a lot to be desired.
Matchup: 7.5
Hakeem Nicks
Larry Fitzgerald torched the Eagles’ secondary for seven catches, 146 yards and two touchdowns. While Nicks is not quite as talented as Fitzgerald, he is the Giants’ top weapon and a #1 receiver in his own right. The Eagles were able to effectively eliminate him from the game last time, but with Mario Manningham returning, and Rodgers-Cromartie out, Philadelphia cannot afford to pay as much attention to Nicks as they did last time out.

It’s hard to bench someone playing as well as Manning is right now. The 49ers are middle-of-the-road in terms of fantasy points allowed to QBs. Although some are predicting a low-scoring game, it looks like Hakeem Nicks will play, bumping this matchup up a bit.
Matchup: 8/10
Finally getting substantial touches, Jacobs had his best game of the season against the Patriots. Don’t expect similar results this week; the 49ers allow the least rush yards and the least fantasy points to running backs. Jacobs is a borderline RB2, but I’d look elsewhere.

The matchup is juicy, with the Patriots giving up more yards per game through the air than any other team. The only thing that could hold Eli back this week is the fact that his top receiver and top running back will likely sit out. Mario Manningham and Victor Cruz are good enough receivers to gash New England’s pitiful secondary, but the comfort level certainly drops when guys like Ramses Barden and Travis Beckum are seeing the field instead of Hakeem Nicks.

The Dolphins give up the most points to quarterbacks of any fantasy defense. Manning is having his best season yet. Not much more to say about this one.
Matchup: 9/10
Somewhat surprisingly, the Dolphins defense allows only the 13th most fantasy points to opposing running backs, meaning this isn’t the greatest matchup for Bradshaw. I do believe the Giants will continue to pound the ball, however, and you can’t sit a guy who scored three touchdowns the last time he played.

Outside of a couple of ill-advised throws (one of which went for a Victor Cruz touchdown) Manning was fantastic last week, despite a porous offensive line and a lack of a running game. And unlike in real life, three touchdowns and three interceptions still makes for a very good fantasy day.
The Bills have forced a lot of interceptions, but are also the 25th worst fantasy defense against quarterbacks. I expect another strong fantasy day from Manning.
Matchup: 8.5/10
The Giants’ running game has been absolutely dreadful this season, and with the offensive line in flux, no one knows what to expect.
With that said, the Bills are terrible stopping the run, so the Giants will try to make this the week they finally establish the run. The Bills defense is 19th in terms of points allowed to running backs, and if David Baas plays, the matchup is even better.

He’s hot right now, with six touchowns and no interceptions in his last two games. The Seahawks only have five sacks and two interceptions, so Eli won’t face a lot of pressure, and even though they’ve only allowed three passing touchdowns, opposing quarterbacks are completing almost 70% of their passes.
In 12-team leagues, there’s a good chance you drafted him as your backup, but unless you have Rodgers, Brady or Brees, or a handful of other elite options, you should be rolling with Eli.
Matchup: 8/10
Hakeem Nicks:
Big Blue’s stud receiver is coming off a career game in which he caught 10 balls for 162 yards and a touchdown. Unless you have three Calvin Johnsons, you’re starting Nicks every week.
