Pierce: Giants Not Ready For Season

“I’m concerned, because I just don’t see the energy,” said Pierce, now an NFL
analyst for ESPN. “You don’t see that swagger that we always talked
about, that me-against-the-world attitude. They can sit there and say
all the right things, but you know that’s not a confident group right
now. I see a team just going about their business. They’re going out
there like, ‘I did my job, coach.’ But they need more.”

Glauber: Time for Bradshaw to Grow Up

…..But the coach will surely make it his business to ensure Bradshaw stays on the straight and narrow. After all, there’s more to being a starting running back in the NFL than just playing the games.

It’s time Bradshaw realizes that how he conducts himself off the field is just as important as what happens on it. The feeling here is that he’ll make the most of the opportunity, and that his preseason benching will serve as a reminder of how much there is to lose if he messes it up.
