A public viewing will be held from 2-8 p.m. on Friday and from 8:30-10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Lacerenza Funeral Home in Stamford. Robustelli died Tuesday morning from complications due to major surgery. The former Giant was 85.

Former football star Lawrence Taylor has been sentenced in New York to six years on probation after a judge refused to allow a teenage prostitute to speak.
Taylor will also have to abide by the conditions of a sex offender. But the judge postponed until April 12 the hearing to determine what level of sex offender will be assigned to him…..AP

Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press spoke with Giants’ great Phil Simms. The discussion turned to second-year Lions’ QB Matthew Stafford and his similarities to a young Phil Simms.
Simms said Stafford has a bright future ahead. “I’d switch places with him,” Simms said. “I’d take it. Give me his body, give me his talent and I’ll take my chances. Send my butt to Detroit and we’ll go.”
