2008 Pro Bowl

In yesterday’s 2008 NFL Pro Bowl, the NFC defeated the AFC 42-30.

The Giants lone representative was DE Osi Unenyiora who finished the game with one Ositackle, one sack and one forced fumble on Browns QB Derek Anderson.

Maybe it was a Super Bowl hangover, but I had zero interest in this game. I like the idea that the NFL has floated about playing this game in the Bye Week leading up to the Super Bowl. Although you would not have any participants on either Super Bowl team, I believe there would at least be some interest in the game for those looking to fill that weekend with some NFL.

I know its only the Pro Bowl, but man, how exciting is Adrian Peterson? I’m a Giants fan first, and a football fan second, and I can’t wait to watch this kid run again next year, as long as he’s not running against the Giants.

Anderson Replacing Brady In Pro Bowl

Browns quarterback Derek Anderson will replace Tom Brady and tight end Kellen Winslow will sub for San Diego’s Antonio Gates on the AFC’s roster for the Pro Bowl on Feb. 10 in Honolulu, SI.com reports.

The Giants beat up Brady at Sunday’s Super Bowl, and is nursing a tender ankle. The Browns did not provide a reason for Anderson replacing Brady.
