Tatun Bell Staying In Detroit

Nicholas J. Cotsonika of the Detroit Free Press reports that free agent RB Tatum Bell has agreed to a one-year, $1.6 million contract to stay with the Lions for the 2008 season.
Bell was stuck behind Kevin Jones last year and did not play in the final 11 games of the season. Jones and Brian Calhoun are recovering from knee injuries and T.J. Duckett left as a free agent, which increases Bell’s chances at playing time next season.
