Gibril Seeking $5 Million Per Year

In his blog for the Star Ledger, Mike Garafolo reports that free agent safety Gibril Wilson is seeking something in the range of $5 million per season.
In December, Colts safety Bob Sanders signed a five-year, $37.5 million contract with $20 million in guaranteed money, making him the highest paid safety in the NFL. That equals out to roughly $7.5 million per season.
Garafolo notes Cincinnati’s Madieu Williams, Jets’ Erik Coleman or a quick-fix, short term option such as veteran Sammy Knight are possibilities.
