Tuck: “NYC is the Best Place to Win Anything”
Giants’ DE Justin Tuck took some victory laps around the area this week, promoting his R.U.S.H. foe Literacy cause and basking in the glow of the team’s second Super Bowl victory in five seasons.
From FOX Business Network:
On FOX Business Network’s (FBN) Power and Money, New York Giants defensive lineman Justin Tuck spoke with host David Asman about the team’s Super Bowl XLVI victory. Tuck said, “New York City is the best place to win anything.” He said that the weather was a possible reason why this ticker tape parade was better than the last one and that “I didn’t even have a jacket on, but I don’t think I would have gotten cold anyway because of the electricity of all those people.”
Excerpts from the interview are below:
On the New York Giants’ Super Bowl XLVI victory:
“The last couple of days have been a tremendous roller coaster. I’ve been blessed to have two of these Super Bowls and New York City is the best place to win anything. It’s the media capital of the world and the fans here are so great.”
On Tuesday’s ticker tape parade:
“The first one was great, but this one was better, maybe because of the weather. I didn’t even have a jacket on, but I don’t think I would have gotten cold anyway because of the electricity of all those people.”
