Report: Giants Returning to Albany This Summer
The Giants appear set return to the University of Albany for training camp this summer.
The team had trained there for 15 summers until last year, when the NFL Lockout forced them to hold camp at their year-round facility in the Meadowlands.
From the Albany Times-Union:
The NFL champions will bring their training camp back to the Capital Region this summer after a lockout-induced absence in 2011, a team spokesman said Thursday.
The latest confirmation came in response to a letter to team owners from lifetime Giants fan U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer expressing hope that players would return upstate.
