Super Bowl XLVI: Ceiling Rising on Ticket Prices

If your were “lucky” enough to win a Super Bowl ticket lottery, you were awarded an opportunity to purchase two seats at $900 a pop.

Tickets to this year’s Super Bowl are at a premium. The prices are also at a historic high. The average ticket price on the secondary market keeps climbing. It is currently around $4000 per seat.

In a recession, you would expect the prices to drop or stabilize over time. Not this year.
