Super Bowl XLVIII, which will be played at MetLife Stadium, has been set for February 2nd, 2014.
The date was moved up so would did not interfere with the Winter Olympics which are to be held in Sochi, Russia beginning the next week.
The NFL also announced the 2015 game will be held in Glendale, Arizona – the site of Super Bowl XLII. This year’s game is scheduled for Indianapolis and New Orleans will host the 2013 game.
