Don’t Forget About Domenik Hixon

by Charles Costello on June 8th, 2011 at 4:28 pm

The Star-Ledger’s Mike Garafolo watched Domenik Hixon at the Giants’ workout today and has this to report:

WR Domenik Hixon looks very fluid in his breaks and cuts. Plus, his straight-ahead speed seems to be fine, as well. Hixon is coming up on the anniversary of his torn ACL, so it makes sense he’d be rounding back into top form right about now. Players recovering from ligament issues often say they turn a corner at the one-year mark.

Amongst all the comings and goings and speculations about who the Giants will have at WR this coming year, I was glad to see that we offered Hixon another year back. u00a0He’s a good guy, a good competitor, and a proven performer on ST. u00a0And he may be our best option this year in the slot. u00a0I have no doubt that he’ll continue to work hard and be ready to go.
