Lifetime Season Ticket Holder Reviews New Stadium

by John Fennelly on September 6th, 2010 at 5:49 pm

Last week was our first trip to the Meadowlands after the stadium was
rebuilt. We were mixed. It had been a long journey deciding whether to
keep the tickets or sell them.

The Giants aren’t just a football team in my family. They are a tradition.

Thanks. Interesting link. As a PSL holder and season ticket holder with my dad since 1981, I am hoping home field advantage is not lost forever on this deal.

Yes, I am fortunate enough that I was able to buy my PSLs, but I went to both preseason games and the $20K/700 club seats were EMPTY. I admit that it was only preseason…but the new stadium seemed way, way too quiet for me.

When I was a kid, the old Giants stadium was always filled with “Here we go Giants, here we go.” Those chants seemed far a few between in the old stadium for a while maybe because the Giants have won 3 Superbowls.

Hard to imagine that new stadium will have a better home field advantage than old one though.

It’s a whole new dynamic there, now….will never be the same
