According to ESPN, the Giants will host the first regular season game in the new stadium on Sunday, September 12.  The Jets will host a Monday night game on the next day.

This seems like a fair-ish way to get both teams in on the opening “weekend” action.

The Jets will host the first pre-season game at the new stadium in August.
