philadelphia-eagles-logo1Philadelphia Eagles: Perhaps the perennial replacement for former RT Jon Runyan, RT Winston Justice and the Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to a four-year contract extension with a 6 million dollar signing bonus. Justice took the place of OL Shawn Andrews this season when he went on the IR before even taking a snap.

In previous seasons, Justice was not looked at as a very successful and productive offensive lineman for the Eagles playing as a replacement. However this season has been different for the USC alum. Like a lot of NFL players, sometimes it takes more than just two or three years to get yourself acclimated to the NFL style of play.

cowboysDallas Cowboys: Owner Jerry Jones was seen on the field in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Redskins. Why you ask? Well, he said he wanted to create a sense of urgency for his team.

“I just felt I wanted to encourage our guys and be there obviously at that location and basically try to create in any way another sense of urgency,” Jones said.

I dont know Jerry. In my opinion, you create enough of a sense of urgency staying up in your 2 million dollar box suite. The players know your watching, Wade Phillips definitely knows your watching, and so why do you have to come down to the field and interrupt?

I’ve been complimenting the way Jerry Jones has been handling his players and personnel this season…but this one one I don’t agree with.

washingtonredskinsWashington Redskins: If Deangelo hall misses this Sunday’s game, he will be the 16th player the Redskins would have lost to a game this season because of injury.

Now both RB Ladell Betts and OL Chad Rinehart are done for the season as well. RB Clinton Portis is still iffy for this Sunday’s match up as well as DT Albert Haynesworth. OL’s Randy Thomas and Chris Samuels have been done since the beginning quarter of the season and TE Chris Cooley expects the boot on his foot to be there for at least another 10 days.

The Redskins aren’t very good, but the amount of injuries they’ve had to deal with is as close to insurmountable as possible.
