The baby Rhinoceros, Brandon Jacobs, practiced fully on Monday and expects to play Thursday in Denver.
- Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) did not practice on Monday, but this came as no surprise as Monday’s practice equates to the normal Wednesday practice which Bradshaw sit out.
Bradshaw is a dynamic back with great explosiveness, but since the injury that burst doesn’t seem to be there, and the Giants run game has suffered.
– Is Safety Dominique Johnson a spy? Johnson, who was signed off the Broncos practice squad two weeks ago was asked about the possibility of being brought in to supply information about the Bronco D. “I’m fully aware of the possibility that’s what i was brought in for.” Johnson also said he told the coaches everything he knows.
The Giants were thin at safety at the time of the signing, but doing it right before the bye week, with an opponent coming up in a short week you can’t put it past the Giants to pull off this move. In a short week the more the coaches know the better, but this tactic has been used many times and it’s effects are normally minimal. That said, with Aaron Ross now seeing time at the safety spot there seems little, to no need , for Johnson.
