Antonio Pierce Out Indefinitely
In what can only be considered bad news, Antonio Pierce is out indefinitely with a bulging disc in his neck. Mike Garafolo is reporting it.
Well this is tough to swallow. The entire defense was finally back together for exactly zero games. The excitement over the return of Aaron Ross is now negated by this huge blow to the team’s defensive leader.
I don’t have any medical experience, but bulging discs are usually not good. As per Garafolo’s article:
“Earlier this month, Browns linebacker Eric Barton’s season was ended when he was placed on injured reserve with a bulging disc in his neck.”
