Read: A Philadelphia Fan/Writer Weighs In

By Jon Schneider on Nov 12, 2009, 11:51 am

As I was perusing the Newark Star-Ledger’s NJ.com, I came across an article written by NJ.com writer David Liss. The article was titled “Things the Giants Should do on Their Week Off” and the first sentence written by Mr. Liss read:

“As a Philly fan, my delight at the Giants’ latest broken rung in their descent back to the pack was cut short by the Eagles’ botching of their opportunity to get a leg up on the Cowboys.”

I’m sorry, but since when is a the writer for the newspaper’s website supposed to broadcast his delight in seeing the team he’s covering demise. And since when is that writer a fan of the biggest rival?

Anyways, Liss went on to list his three things the Giants should do during this bye week to get back on the winning road. Of those ideas listed, one I agreed with was his thought on the defensive line needing to get after the quarterback more to help an ailing secondary.

I’ve been saying that for weeks now, and if the Eagles fan is noticing it, I guess it’s more than apparent.
