Brian the bigger factor may have been the cadence, as Chris Collinsworh pointed out it seemed as though then next sound after “Omaha” was supposed to be the snap. I think if anything the Cards figured that out more then they did the clock.

I love the fact that Coughlin has a sense of humor about this but I still think the reporter posed a good question. Replays the other night showed the DE’s exploding off of the ball when the clock wound down. It’s definitely an edge for the Defense when the clock gets down to the last few seconds. Ask any defensive player and they’ll tell you the same.

not sure it’s great, but nice to see some levity after 2 straight losses, especially from Coughlin who can be very tough in the media room. If there is a 3rd straight loss dont expect any more.
