by Rich Resch on October 18th, 2009 at 4:33 pm

The New Orleans Saints ravaged the New York Giants by a score of 48-27. The Giants allowed 500 yards for the first time since 1980.

- Drew Brees made the Giants look silly, completing 23 of 30 for 369 yards and four touchdowns.
- Eli Manning was 14 for 31 for 178 yards, one touchdown, one interception and one fumble lost.
- The Giants were 3/10 on third downs, while the Saints converted 7/13. Hard to win games like that.
- The vaunted Giants defensive line managed no sacks of Drew Brees. They rarely ever got close.
