CB Aaron Ross did not practice with a hamstring injury and will not play Sunday.
CB Kevin Dockery did not practice with a hamstring injury which Coughlin called “precautionary.”
CB Terrell Thomas told reporters that he would be starting, which makes you wonder if Dockery will be healthy enough for Sunday’s opener. If not the Giants will be left very thin at corner, and rookie free agent Bruce Johnson would find himself in the nickel, a slightly scary thought.
LB Clint Sintim did not practice with a groin injury but there is hope he gets back to practice tomorrow.
Sintim could be pushing Danny Clark for his starting job by midseason, and the hope is that he will at least share snaps in passsing downs early in the year. Sintim is very adept at getting to the quarterback.
OL Adam Koets did not practice with an ankle injury.
The best news might be that DL Chris Canty is not on the injury report, and while he may not start the game he is sure to see extensive playing time.
