Pete Prisco of CBSsports.com has been putting out his positional rankings periodically throughout the past few weeks. Today, he came out with his QB rankings, putting Eli ninth. The rankings look as follows:

1. Peyton Manning

2. Tom Brady

3. Drew Brees

4. Ben Roethlisberger

5. Philip Rivers

6. Carson Palmer

7. Kurt Warner

8. Donovan McNabb

9. Eli Manning

10. Matt Ryan

This list does not make much sense to me in some parts. First of all, Carson Palmer and Tom Brady were both out for pretty much the whole season. Brady..fine his reputation speaks for itself, but Palmer should not be on this list, and especially not in front of Eli, Warner, or McNabb.

On my list, Rivers would be under Eli as well. He has not proved anything yet, whereas Eli has only won a super bowl. Peyton still deserves the nod at number one, and I have no problem with Big Ben that high either, he’s just a winner.
