The Giants selected DeAndre Wright, cornerback from the New Mexico Lobos with the 200th overall pick in the 2009 NFL draft.
Wright was a second-team All-Mountain West selection. He had 10 career interceptions and 25 pass breakups for the Lobos. Scouts are concerned about his durability because of his slight frame and postseason surgeries on both shoulders.
