Giants Will Open Season vs Redskins and Dallas

SNY Giants insider Mike Garafolo reveals some information that won’t be released until 7pm tonight.
Garafolo was able to find out that the Giants’ season opener will be at home against the Redskins.
The game will kick off at 4:15 p.m. on Sept. 13. It appears the game will be the headliner of the late Fox games, good news for out of the market folks, since CBS will carry the U.S. Open final late in the afternoon.
In reverse of last season, it sounds like the Giants will be playing a lot of road games early, including Week 2 at Dallas in the opener of the Cowboys’ new stadium. Garafolo has been told that will be the NBC Sunday Night game.
The Giants should close the season with plenty of home dates, and end the regular season by closing out their old stadium on Week 17.
