Ralph Vacchiano of the Daily News points out that no team has ever won 2 games in one season on the Giants home turf.

Basically the Eagles have no shot, it’s science.

Ralph also point out that in the history of the NFL there have only been  9 opportunities to win 2 games on Giants turf.

Basically the stat is meaningless and the Eagles have a shot, way to go Ralph, and way to go me, for referencing this meaningless stat.

We would also like to hear from the readers of Giants Football Blog as to whether or not you think Brian Dawkins is in fact a dirty player. I say no, fellow Giants Football Blog writer Rich Resch says yes, discuss. For the record I still hate Dawkins but I am convinced in order to be a good safety you must be in the dirty discussion.  Name one safety who was not accused of being dirty and I will show you a bad safety. Except of course for Myron Guyton, who was in fact amazing, and by amazing I mean a complete disappointment but not dirty.
