When a team gets on a run even the beat writers enjoy it. Generally you start reading about stories you would never hear about if the team wasn’t, say 10-1, or coming off a Superbowl Championship. Michael Silver at Yahoo sports dives right in with this article on the Giant’s pranksters.

This article is actually rather funny, and gives you a good idea of just how insane offensive lineman can be. Some quick highlights. Grey Reugamer once put a dead  seagull in Rich Seubert’s truck. Dave Diehl is chatty on the sidelines, and apparently will discuss anything from a fans meal to what the secondary of opposing teams are doing. O’hara even commented on McKenzie’s DUI, saying “let’s just say he won’t be driving us any time soon.”

I remember befriending guys like these in college, they were the Delta Upsilon’s. Giant men, who perhaps due to there size, felt nothing was off limits to get a laugh. Funny thing is there always seem to be a dead pig involved. In fact my college girlfriend once went home early only to find a pig head in my bed…sort of the anti godfather. You’ll notice in the article a pig comes into play as well…weird.
