where do I come off? Ha, I feel like I just got drunk at some random weddding and decided to give a speech and now I am being scolded by the brides parents. "where do you come off Mr Jacks?"

To answer your question, certainly you have heard about the strained relationship between Plax and Coughlin. He has been suspended once, held out of another half and fined 40/50 times. Not exactly a team player. There have been rumors all year that the gmen may move on in the offseason without plax. That said, do I think the Gmen are better without him? No. But I think asking the question is warranted.......

Pro bowlers - pre injury I would have said robbins, but the two broken hands have slown him down. I would like to think webster should get some votes, but probably not. Hedgecock getting slighted might work in out favor as you mentioned. You have to think o'hara or snee have a chance this year as well.

Thanks for writing monster

#2. I don't know where you come off mentioning Plaxico when you are talking about Hixon unless it is to say how good a compliment he would be to Plax. Why not wonder instead if Hixon should bump Amani down? Realize we have 4 good receivers (really 3 good and 1 great receiver in Plax.) There needs to be no discussion of 'a team without Plax.' We beat the Cardinals, so what. We will need Plax when it counts, so come off it. That said, if there were to be a discussion of where Hixon fits in, he should bump Toomer down, if anything. (And maybe even bump him below Steve Smith.... soon enough atleast.)

#6 I do love seeing Diehl's picture. The lower half of his face is probably larger than any other human being's.

#9 You never know with fullbacks, man. They are the craziest players out there. They don't get to tackle, they barely get to run or catch the ball, and they kill their body. I think most are criminally insane, too. Whatever he has to do to get his juices flowing on Sunday. If he feels disrespected, so be it. (Maybe we should hope he doesn't go to the Pro-Bowl, so he feels even more slighted next year.)
-----

And if I may go on a tangent after the Pro-Bowl statement, how many Giants do you think make the Pro-Bowl this year? Jacobs, Tuck, maybe one of D-tackles and 2 offensive lineman? Anyone else? Pierce, Eli (doubtful with atleast Warner/Brees), Plax? Any secondary members?

wow... I actually googled cain ayin hara, cause I knew there was no way I would spell it right....still I believe it translates to "why is that rhinoceros in a uniform, and why he is he running right at me?" I know this becuase if you slow down the tape of Brandon Jacobs trucking Leron Landry you can seem him mouthing "cain ayin hara" two seconds before he gets planted into the meadowlands turf.

FYI

Re:your granmother's expression, ““Cain and Hora,”. The actual words are (spelled phonetically), cain ayin hara. It is usually pronounced kenaina hora. The literal translation is - No evil eye. The English language equivalent is knock on wood.

Enjoy your blog. Keep up the good work.

weak129 I don't know what you are talking about...please re-read...ok I edited, thanks for the info. That said (I am totally addicted to "that said") it is definitely Willem not William. In fact we can now include Willem's mother when discussing the most confusing names ever given to a child. Anfernee Hardaway, Marvcus Patton, Jehereme Urban and now Willem Dafoe. Seriously, did they think 1 letter change would make them seem anything but insane?

weak if you like what you read please comment, I thrive on them. Basically your comments are my form of crack...to much?

I want to say 1st I love reading what you write, saying that I will nit pick on non football issue as I can not fine real fault (not that I was looking) with anything you said about football.

1. William Dafoe played the Green Goblin (Marvel Comics) not the Green lantern (DC comics).

2. The head in a vice you made reference to happened in Casino not Goodfellas. Joe Pesci was in both so I can see how you mixed them up.

Once again you do great work and I check the site every few hours so keep up the great work.
