Jay Glazer of Fox Sports is reporting that Brandon Jacobs will be inactive for today’s game against the Cardinals.

This seems to be a pre-cautionary move, but one the Giants are prepared for. The first unit practiced with Derrick Ward all week long. Let’s hope Brandon didn’t suffer a setback. Most likely, he is just a little sore and the Giants decided not to risk it.
