WR Amani Toomer

On how this year is different than last year with playing consistently:

“This year it just seems like we have taken off with playing well since the playoffs last season. We have really played our game and kept the momentum going.”

On how big the win was to win a big game in Philadelphia:

“Any time you can get a win in this division and particularly in Philadelphia, it is a huge win. This is a difficult place to play and anytime you can get a win here you cannot complain at all.  We could of played better, but it is still a win.”

On whether he was disappointed that they let the Eagles hang around:

“I was a little bit disappointed because if the Eagles had gotten the first down on the fourth and one, at the end of the game they were in control. I think with the way the stats were that the game should not have been as close as it was. The stats did show something different, but you have to give the Eagles credit because they scrapped and fought till the end of the game. The last couple of years against Philadelphia have come down to a last critical play.”

On how much this game was a statement game for the Giants:

“I think this game was a statement game for the division as a whole. We were able to let everyone know that we went through it the first time and won the games. We are definitely a team to be reckoned with and we want to win the NFC East, which we did not do last year.”

TE Kevin Boss

On whether he was glad to get a pass for a touchdown down on the one yard line:

“Last year a couple of times we got stuffed at the goal line and we had a game plan to have some passes, if we got down there in the game. It was a great play call on the touchdown, and I got jammed, but [QB Eli] Manning put the ball in a great spot.”

On what happened on the second touchdown pass he dropped in the end zone:

“I thought at first I did catch it but in the process of tucking the ball in, I hit the ground and dropped it. I think we could of challenged it because I really did think that I had caught the ball. We scored the next play, so it was Ok.”

On how well he is blocking and the whole offensive line is blocking:

“I am just feeling really confident out there right now and I feel like I can line up against any player and make plays. I think right now our whole offensive line and my self have a lot of confidence right now and we are really focused. This is really a big win for this team overall because we are first in the division, and this is a hostile place to play.”

RB Brandon Jacobs

On whether he was happy but frustrated with the win:

“I think I am happy we won but that I could have played a better game tonight. I felt like I just did enough tonight to do my part. I do not think though that I did enough as I could do. I felt like I left a little bit of my self out on the field.”

On how in a physical game the Giants found the way to win again:

“I knew that this was a good football team and that we were going to have to come out playing very well. This turnpike battle is always a physical game and that is the way it has always been. We accepted that and we went out there offensively and did what we needed to do.”

On whether he was frustrated with himself with the fumbles in the game:

“I think tonight it was just poor protection of the football for me tonight and I will try and make sure this does not happen again. I do know that I will no longer leave the ground. This is not something that I usually do.”

On what it was like to win on the road in the division:

“This was a big game because we are now two games up in the division. This is very big for us to have separation right now. The season though is not over and we are only a little of the way half way through it. We still have teams in our division to play again, and some of them are on the road.  The season is along way from over.”

Giants CB Sam Madison

On playing in the game and making an interception:

“Well, it’s all about having fun, you know, and the thing about it we are very deep in our secondary and we have a lot of young guys that need to be out there playing to understand this game and get that experience.  When it comes time, whoever it is, myself, Corey [Webster], Terrell [Thomas], Aaron [Ross], whoever it is, you have to go in and perform and it just so happens I was able to make a play for this football team today and it was a very big play and I was glad I was in the right spot to do it for us.”

On winning in Philadelphia:

“This is one of the toughest places.  If you go back and look over since I’ve been here, when we were the winning team, we probably won between three to four points.  This is a plus win in five points today.  It’s extremely tough coming here no matter if it’s a divisional game or playoff game or whatever but today it was hard fought and I was happy that we were able to pull it off.  They have a very great football team over there, you know, we just made more plays than they did today.”

On going against Brian Westbrook:

“We were able to hold [Brian Westbrook] to under normal, you know, what he’s used to.  I think Antonio Pierce was pretty much matched up with him the majority of the day.  I think [Pierce] did a great job.  Our defensive line pretty much contained him and kept him inside of the box.  [Correll] Buckhalter was able to get on the outside and exploit our defense a little bit and made some big plays here and there but overall you always have to be able to find number 36 and I think we did a very good job on him today.”

Giants LB Chase Blackburn

On being around the ball at all times:

“You gameplan for it, that’s why you watch film but as coach Bill Sheridan says, ‘Strain your gut at all times’.  Always running the ball, that’s what we work on, so it helps.”

On knowing where the Eagles were going to run the ball on the last offensive play:

“Jon Runyan.  You have to think when he’s in there things are going to come that way to the big man.  That’s how it works.”

Giants CB Corey Webster

On what he was thinking when he walked off the field:

“I wanted to get back out there.  Get in the locker room, put more tape on it and just go out there and play.”
