Charges Dropped on Ware

All charges were dropped in a case against Giants RB Danny Ware. He was charged with pedestrian under the influence and pedestrian in the roadway after visiting Athens, Ga., for the Georgia vs. Alabama game.

    I notice this hasnt hit the mainstream press after his arrest was made such a big deal of.

    From reading a few comments of people who were Eyewitnesses to the events – the local newspaper allowed comments on the original article – Ware was hailing a cab in the street when a cop car almost sideswiped him and then proceeded to press the issue. There were hundreds of other UofG fans in the area after the game and the police chose to make an issue of Ware and his girl friend. It was typical police harassment and his name should be cleared with the same vociferation as his arrest.
