Pretty lively blog!

It has occured to me over the last couple games that the Giants may want to work into the rotation some series with Both Jacobs and Ward - with Ward lined up at FB. The teams scheming against the G-men have major match-up problems which have led to multiple opportunities for hedgecock. Only problem is that his hands are made of iron, like the rest of him.

Obviously if you used this backfield only when you wanted to throw it is useless as they would simply key off the personnel package - but if it was used during several series the matchup problems that cause Hedgecock to be open will emerge with Ward being able to take great advantage. I am also impressed with Ward's pass protection and blocking ability which will make him a useful FB on the plays not directed his way.

Not our best game, but certainly our best win. WOW! Defense was amazing minus a couple big plays. Offense didnt get it done in the red zone, but give the Steelers defense credit for locking down (plus, I still think Jacobs got in). We still made plays when we needed. Anyway, GREAT WIN.

Couple of corrections too: Eli didnt throw an INT, but a TD. Also, Burress did have a catch (at least one I know of), and he entered the game in the first quarter for sure. He was on the field for the 2nd red zone failure.
