Plaxico’s Fines

Tom Rock at Newsday is reporting that Plaxico Burress has been fined 45,000 by the NFL for 3 incidents during Suday’s game against the 49ers.

$20,000 for his postgame comments critical of the officiating

$20,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct during the game

$5,000 for chucking the football into the stands after his TD

This is just a slap on the wrist for Burress. I live for the day that a 45,000 fine is just a slap on the wrist for me.
