Holmes and Parker out, Carney in.

Tom Rock at Newsday is reporting that due to his run-in with the law yesterday, Santonio Holmes will not be in uniform on Sunday.

If Goodell, and the NFL, fined Plaxico 45,000 for opening his mouth, Santonio will certainly be in store for some serious punishment. Perhaps they will have Hines Ward hit him when he isn’t looking.

ESPN is reporting that Willie Parker did not practice today, and is unlikely to play.

This means Mewelde Moore, a very capable back, will be starting.

Tom Coughlin said this, when asked about his place kicker for Sunday, “We will stay where we are for now.”

It looks like the Giants will go with John Carney until he does something to change their minds. The early weather report for Sunday in Pittsburgh is rain, so expect a slick football and the possibility of turnovers. Although, I suppose there is always that possibility.

    HELLO OUT THERE!?!?!

I can’t be the only one reading this site. It has to be getting hits to be sticking around.

Why are there no comments here? I can’t even sift through the Metsblog comments, and here there are practically none.

    What gives?
