Game Notes:

  • The Giants look to extend their winning streak away from their home field to 12 games with a win against the Rams, but are 4-13 against their franchise on the road throughout history.
  • Cornerback Terrell Thomas and kicker Lawrence Tynes have been deemed out for today’s game. John Carney will remain the kicker this week. Cornerback R.W. McQuarters was listed as questionable with a calf injury, but will not play. Defensive ends Mathias Kiwanuka and Jerome McDougle are probable. Linebacker Jonathan Goff was probable, but is out for today’s game.
  • Rams wide receiver Drew Bennett is out for today’s game.
  • The Rams allowed 522 yards of total offense last week against the Eagles in their 38-3 loss.
  • ESPN’s Rachel Nichols reported that the Giants plan to use the deep ball “extensively” in today’s game.
