Kiwi Is Fine

Giants fans can breathe a collective sigh of relief. Mathias Kiwanuka, who has stepped up to fill the void created by the season ending injury of Osi Umenyiora and departure of Michael Strahan, appeared to injure his leg on the final play of last night’s game.
X-rays were negative, and Kiwi said although he was nervous since it was the same leg he broke last season, he feels fine. Ralph Vacchiano at the New York Daily News provides the update.
X-rays were negative on Umenyiora’s injury too. Lets hope theres no other damage in there. Since it appears that he didn’t hurt any joints on the play, hopefully he’s in the clear.
