Game Notes:
- Giants linebacker Jonathan Goff, cornerback Terrell Thomas and kicker Lawrence Tynes are out for tonight’s game.

- The Giants are 46-32-5 in week one games in their franchise history. Head coach Tom Coughlin is 1-3 as Giants head coach in week one openers.
- WR Domenik Hixon is questionable and probably will not play much but could see some work as the fourth receiver.
- The Giants will make history tonight — becoming the first team in the Super Bowl era to start two players over the age of 42 on the same team…kicker John Carney (44) and Jeff Feagles (42). This is also the first team since 1999 that Feagles has been on where he isn’t the oldest player on the team.

Quote of the Day:
“There is no excuse for anything. There are no excuses in our game. We have never made one, we never intend to make one. Our guys will have to line up and play. And we know that each guy, for us to be successful, has got to play a little bit better to compensate for the loss of Osi and we start the season.”
– Tom Coughlin on two new defensive starters.
