Plenty Of Kenny Phillips In Opener
Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports that Giants rookie safety Kenny Phillips will play in the Giants’ nickel defense Thursday night against the Redskins.
Michael Johnson will start at free safety, but will only be a two-down player. Vacchiano speculates that Phillips could wind up with more snaps in the opener.
