OL Shane Olivea was released by the Giants today. Olivea got off to a great start in camp, drawing praise from coach Tom Coughlin but sustained a season ending back injury.

Other players that the Giants came to an injury settlement were DE Antonio Reynolds and S Nehemiah Warrick.
