Droughns On The Chopping Block
Danny Ware seems to be moving up the depth charts and Reuben Droughns might be on his way out.
The New York Post writes that Droughns is in danger of losing his roster spot to Ware. Ware leads the Giants in rushing yards in the first two games of the preseason, and ran for 97 yards on Monday night on 10 carries. On kick returns he averaged 39 yards on three returns, one of them for 59 yards.
It also appears that the Giants have lost Kay-Jay Harris for the season. He bent his leg, injuring his ankle and foot on a play in the fourth quarter of Monday night’s game. Harris, a former minor league baseball player, was a long shot to make the roster.
